This page explains which cookies and similar technologies www.tourist4tourist.com uses, and how you can choose. In short: the cookies needed to run the site and to remember your choice, and advertising cookies from Google only if you consent. No analytics.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser, so that it can remember something between one page and the next. First-party cookies are set by this site; third-party cookies are set by other services used by the site. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and follow the same rules.

2.2 Functional
Our forms (Contact Us and “Suggest an update” in the travel guides) use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them. Turnstile runs in a frame loaded from challenges.cloudflare.com and may store technical data there during the check. It does not set cookies on our domain and is not used for advertising or to track you across sites.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the forms from spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfer: Cloudflare, Inc., USA, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
2.3 Advertising
The site shows ads from Google AdSense. These cookies are used only if you consent in Google’s consent message. Without consent, Google shows only non-personalised or limited ads, and limited ads do not use cookies to choose the ad. 2.4 Content from other sites, without cookies
The maps in the travel guides load their images from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org). These images do not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation to receive them. See section 2.4 of our Privacy Policy.
The affiliate links in some guides are plain links and set no cookies on this site. After you click one, the affiliate network (Travelpayouts) and the partner’s site may set their own cookies on their domains, under their own cookie policies. See section 2.8 of our Privacy Policy.
3. Your choices
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from Google on their first visit, with the buttons “Consent”, “Do not consent” and “Manage options”, where you can choose purpose by purpose and partner by partner. You can change your choice at any time with “Privacy & cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or here.
4. Cookies in your browser settings
