We work from the sources listed on each guide and show the date of our last check, but we cannot guarantee that the information is complete, accurate or current. Entry rules, health advice, safety conditions, transport, opening times and prices can change without notice, and some information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Our guides are written with Ulisse, our AI assistant, and an AI system can make mistakes.
Check with official sources before you travel
Before you book or travel, confirm what matters to you with official sources:
- Entry and visas: the embassy or consulate of the country you are visiting, and its government website. Airlines may also have their own rules.
- Safety: your own government’s travel advice.
- Health: a doctor or a travel health professional, ideally several weeks before you leave.
- Insurance: your insurer, for what your policy covers in your destination.
If an official source says something different from our guide, follow the official source. If you tell us about the difference through the “Suggest an update” form on the guide, we will check it.
